Why this site exists
I built metastocktrial.com in 2011 for one reason: after years of teaching, the single most useful thing I could tell any trader considering MetaStock was try it properly before you pay for it. The software has a genuinely free, full-featured 30-day trial, and this site's job is to point you at it with enough honest context, including the weaknesses, to use the month well.
How the site makes money, plainly
Every trial link here goes to the official metastock.com signup through an affiliate code. If you become a paying customer, MetaStock pays this site a commission; your price is identical either way. That relationship has run since 2011, and the way to keep it worth having is the way I taught trading: recommend conservatively, disclose everything, and let people verify claims themselves for free.
My standing advice, unchanged in a decade
Trade with rules you have tested, not hunches you have rationalised. Size positions so no single trade matters. And never buy analysis software, this one included, without a structured month of hands-on evaluation. The trading blog expands on all three.
